If you have taken college-level courses in physics, you may take an optional accreditation test to determine whether you can earn credit for PHYS 12100 or PHYS 14100. AP and IB courses typically do not provide sufficient background for these accreditation tests. Please bring a calculator and something with which to write. Students are invited to journey out to the pitch for some tactical, fast-paced college soccer action! Change Ringing is a team sport, a musical performance, an antique art, and a demanding pattern-based exercise all at once! Come learn about the precision required to make music with these swinging bells. Tours depart from the University seal, located on the floor of the main lobby in the Reynolds Club. The tour involves climbing four flights of stairs to the ringing room. An optional ladder climb will take you higher up to the bells and further to the roof of Mitchell Tower.

Since its premiere in November 1963, the classic British television programme Doctor Who has been a cornerstone of popular culture for half a century. From the earliest ‘Exterminate!’ to the recent ‘Allons-y!,’ from the white-haired grandfather to the wide-grinned youth, the show has depicted the adventures of a time-travelling, dual-hearted, quick-witted and multi-faced hero as he battles Daleks, Cybermen, Sontarans and all manner of nasties.

Part of the Seventh Annual Hyde Park Jazz Festival, with Anat Cohen and Douglas Lora Duo. Anat Cohen is an Israeli jazz clarinet virtuoso, saxophonist and bandleader. Cohen performs regularly and has appeared at a number of notable jazz festivals. Douglas Lora, composer and guitarist moves with versatility between classical and popular music and has been one of the most prominent Brazilian artists of his generation. Together as a duo, these two talented artists will play an hour of jazz music in the massive space that is Rockefeller Chapel. Not to be missed! Free.
